We've been repairing footwear on the Mendocino Coast since 1983, and we specialize in Birkenstock repair using only genuine Birkenstock replacement parts. How It Works

Then pack your sandals securely and ship them via USPS Priority Mail — it delivers in 2–3 business days from Ann Arbor to Gualala. We repair your pair by hand using genuine parts and ship them back to you with tracking. Most repairs are completed within approximately two weeks of receiving your shoes.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility and will be confirmed before we ship your pair back. We recommend insuring your outgoing shipment for its replacement value.

Why Ship Instead of Repairing Locally?

Michigan's harsh winters and freeze-thaw cycles are particularly hard on Birkenstock cork that hasn't been properly sealed — moisture penetrates unsealed cork and the repeated freezing and thawing accelerates cracking and deterioration. Most Ann Arbor cobblers handle general repairs. Very few stock genuine Birkenstock replacement parts or understand the footbed construction well enough to restore it properly.
